The terror alert in Norway has been raised to its highest level on Saturday after a shooter opened fire at a gay bar ahead of the Oslo’s Pride events, killing two and wounding 21 others.
Police said the suspect has been arrested and two weapons seized. The shooter has not been named, but is considered a radicalized Islamist who has a history of mental illness.
The shooter has been known to authorities since 2012, the Norwegian intelligence service said on Saturday.
The official Pride parade was cancelled after the tragedy.
