Global manufacture of the drug cocaine reached a record high in 2020, according to the UN’s ​latest World Drug Report, ​released on Monday.

Of the three countries that grow coca bushes, to make cocaine, Colombia showed a ​slight decline while Peru and Bolivia produced record amounts.

Most coca in Peru is grown in a huge jungle valley where the Andes meet the Amazon.
