Two cousins from the town of San Miguel Huautla, in Mexico’s Oaxaca State, were among those abandoned inside the trailer in San Antonio, Texas where 53 migrants died.  

CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock spoke to relatives of the victims and residents of the town they came from to find out why so many young people from Central and South America risk their lives to migrate from their homes.
