NYC Buildings Emissions

New York’s famous Empire State Building has managed to cut its greenhouse gas output by about 40% after a ten-year refit. Buildings are currently responsible for more than two-thirds of carbon emissions in the city. 

Other skyscrapers are now being urged to undergo environmentally-friendly makeovers to comply with new emissions regulations.
