Donald Trump has claimed victory for orchestrating the end of fellow Republican Liz Cheney's congressional career.

The former president took revenge on Cheney for her leading role in the January 6^th inquiry by backing a replacement candidate for her congressional seat.

But could Cheney have the last laugh if she stands against Trump in the next presidential election?
