Crime, gangs, lawlessness: all are problems often associated with Latin America, and sometimes presented as one reason for the region’s overall under-development. 

The issue is prevalent in Venezuela. But one company, based in the state of Aragua just outside Caracas, decided to take matters into its own hands, with remarkable success.
