A magnitude-6.8 earthquake jolted Luding County, Southwest China's Sichuan Province, at 12:52 PM local ( 2:52 AM EST) on Monday.
A total of 66 people were killed, over 250 injured, 15 missing. 

Sichuan has activated the highest level of emergency response for the earthquake and China has raised its earthquake emergency response to Level II.
