U.S. President Joe Biden convened an important cabinet meeting on Tuesday, September 6th, as he and the Democratic Party prepare for the upcoming midterm elections, which are scheduled for November of this year.

During the meeting, Biden highlighted his cabinet's recent legislative victories, including laws that deal with climate change, health care and the tax bill.

Biden told reporters after Tuesday's cabinet meeting, the first since March, that Vice President Kamala Harris and Attorney General Merrick Garland were working diligently to protect abortion rights and a woman's right to choose.

The President has not officially announced his decision to run in 2024; however, despite being the oldest U.S. leader on record, Biden has expressed a desire to retain the position.
