Many parts of the United States have endured extreme heat waves in recent weeks.

The agriculture industry in particular, has faced crippling challenges as a result of record-high temperatures, drought and historically-low water supplies.

Experts are worried about the combination of climate change and food security not just in the U.S. but in other parts of the world as well.
