Firefighters continue to battle the Mosquito Fire in northern California, the state’s largest fire that still rages in Placer County.
Evacuations of nearby towns were ordered by the sheriff’s office on Tuesday after the fire exploded again, burning down at least 46 structures and leaving more than 11,000 people displaced by the blaze.
Over 50,000 acres in the Sierra Nevada Mountains have been burned.
