The Director General of the United Nation's health agency said on Wednesday, the end of the pandemic is in sight. But now is not the time to let up efforts to tackle COVID-19. 

Two and a half years into the pandemic, some countries are still struggling with ongoing coronavirus outbreaks, with populations inadequately vaccinated, and failing health systems.
