Drought conditions in northern Mexico are so dire that the government declared a “national emergency” in the state Nuevo Leon this summer.

With it, came new efforts at water rationing and redistribution.

And as CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock reports, there is an exponential growth in unease among the public.
