Colombia has its first left-wing president, Gustavo Petro – a man who has been blunt in his criticisms of the United States.

Colombia has long been the strongest U.S. ally in the region.

Both countries have worked closely together in fighting the war on drugs.

Will that now change under Petro's leadership?
