Two weeks before the runoff vote in Brazil’s presidential elections, the latest polls show opposition candidate, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva still leading by as much as five points.

Pollsters have been criticized for underestimating first round support for incumbent president Jair Bolsonaro.

Partly for this reason, analysts say the outcome is far from certain. Sunday’s debate could be one way for voters to make up their minds.
