A fire ripped through the Salama School for the Blind in the Mukono district of Uganda early Tuesday morning, leaving at least 11 dead.  

Most of those killed are reported to be children who died while sleeping in their dormitories.Six others are in critical condition, as forensics officials  investigate the cause of the fire to bring answers to grieving families.  

Parents have gathered at the Herona hospital where injured students are receiving treatment.
