There are signs homelessness is on the rise in the United States. Many shelters have reported a surge in people looking for help this year. 

Rising rents, inflation and natural disasters have all been cited as contributing factors. 

Miami, a city known ​more ​for its beaches and nightlife ​is no exception to this trend.
