Brazilian favelas facing hunger ahead of Christmas

While the world was struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic and slower economic growth, there has been a big jump in the number of Brazilians facing hunger.
Against this backdrop, a Christmas food donation campaign is underway in the country's favelas to help people in need.
