Tens of millions of women in the U.S. lost access to abortion procedures in their home states in 2022, after the Supreme Court overturned the landmark Roe v Wade decision, which established the constitutional right to an abortion. At least 15 states have stopped offering pregnancy termination, with others poised to do so in 2023.
