After a wave of protests over women’s rights in Iran that has seen at least 300 people killed, including four executions, Iran’s prosecutor general’s office has put forth a new directive for ways authorities are to deal with the increasing number of women who refuse to comply with the strict female dress code.
Rather than making an arrest, a set of guidelines was put forth for Iranian officials to follow when a woman breaks the modest dress code in Iran, as reported by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.
