Fort Myers Beach, Florida is far from recovery after Hurricane Ian slammed into the town in Sept. 2022 as a major storm. In many areas the storm looks like it happened yesterday with 97 percent of the structures destroyed or damaged.
People are sleeping in tents and campers where their homes once stood, while community members organize to provide food supplies to those in need.
