Inflation in the U.S. may be cooling off, but it'll be a bumpy ride back to normal.
That was the message from the head of the central bank this Tuesday.
The Federal Reserve has been raising its main lending rate aggressively to reduce the highest inflation for 40 years and its chair Jerome Powell hinted more rises are in store this year.
And yet Powell has raised rates without harming the economy, upending many traditional models of how interest rates affect economic activity.
