The earthquake killed more than 41,000 in Syria and Türkiye after it flattened homes and entire city blocks.

Rescuers are still finding people alive under the rubble more than a week after the disaster.  Millions are still in need of aid and shelter in the cold temperatures.

Water treatment, sewage, and vital infrastructures have been damaged, which could lead to a health crisis atop the humanitarian disaster, a World Health Organization representative said.
