On February 18, 2023 local time, Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Wopke Hoekstra while attending the Munich Security Conference.

Wang Yi expressed that openness and pragmatism are an important connotation of China-Netherlands relations.
