The state of California is facing an ongoing battle with extreme weather conditions that have left its residents unprepared for the aftermath of these natural disasters caused by climate change. 

The U.S. state has endured widespread wildfires and a record amount of rainfall only months apart. Experts say climate change is creating extreme weather conditions.
