Cuba experiences extreme lack of rain

The winter months and early spring are always fairly dry in Cuba, but this year, the lack of rain has been extreme with authorities saying drought conditions are impacting more than 400,000 people.
Water supplies are depleted, wildfires have spread, and farmers’ livelihoods are under threat.
