Roughly 500 years’ worth of artwork from the Ming and Qing dynasties has been unveiled in New York City.

The ‘Flowers on a River’ exhibition showcases some of China’s finest examples of flower-and-bird paintings.

It’s the most comprehensive collection of its kind outside China and has taken years of planning to put together.
