Israelis voice mixed opinions on government’s judicial overhaul pause

Not all Israelis are confident in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s halt to his government’s judiciary overhaul announced on Monday, March 27.  

Hundreds of thousands were protesting in the streets for months seeking to stop the plans by Netanyahu’s religious-nationalist coalition to reduce the powers of the judiciary, but some are not viewing Monday’s announcement as a victory.
