At least five people were killed after another tornado touched down in the U.S. state of Missouri early Wednesday in Bollinger County, where search and rescue efforts are underway.

Homes and businesses in the small communities of Glen Allen and Marble Hill, 100 miles south of St. Louis,  were damaged after a large twister tore through into the area at around 3:30 am.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson tweeted Wednesday that he would visit the county, one of many in the region that is still on high alert for future storms.

Wednesday’s tornado is the third in a series of massive twisters that have killed more than 63 people in the South and Midwestern United States over the last few weeks.
