Age discrimination is widespread, especially in the workplace. In Brazil, ageism affects a particularly vulnerable group: the illiterate.
Latin America’s biggest country has more than 11 million people aged 15 and over who cannot read or write. They're trying to catch up despite facing systematic prejudice.
