The COVID-19 pandemic has had a lingering impact on college enrollment levels in the U.S.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the drop in college attendance over the past few years is the steepest in the country’s history.
The coronavirus triggered the trend but the persisting high cost of living is seen as an exacerbating factor.
