U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says the U.S. has no plans to decouple the American economy from China’s and Washington seeks cooperation on key global issues.

In a speech Thursday, which was much more conciliatory in tone than recent Biden administration officials’ pronouncements on China, Yellen said she hopes to travel to China to meet her new counterparts.
