Iran confirmed Thursday that its navy has seized a Marshall Islands-flagged commercial oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman.
The U.S. Navy has identified the vessel as the "Advantage Sweet" and says it is a large crude tanker chartered by Chevron. Iran said the tanker collided with an Iranian boat, and two of the boat's crew were missing and several were injured following the collision.
