History of abusive conditions at Native American school
Hendrik Sybrandy

For 75 years, the Tulalip Indian Boarding School was a mainstay in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. And according to the U.S. Interior Department, it was also one of hundreds of boarding schools that often subjected Native American children to abusive conditions. The department is conducting a year-long tour to fill in gaps in what's known about those facilities. It held a hearing in Washington state this past weekend. CGTN's Hendrik Sybrandy reports from there.
