Hundreds of migrants, many of them undocumented, are stranded in camps along Peru’s border with Chile as the country has doubled down on their entry along its borders.
Peru’s interior minister said Wednesday that more than half of the 1.5 million foreigners in Peru, mostly from Venezuela, are in the country under an irregular immigration status.
