Barbie manufacturer, Mattel has revealed a new doll resembling “Anna May Wong,” in an effort to honor the Asian-American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month in the United States.
Selected for the company’s ‘Inspiring Women’ series, Anna May Wong is considered the first major Asian-American movie star in Hollywood. And the move comes after the Chinese-American actress became the first Asian-American on a U.S. currency.
