Nearly a month after the governor of the U.S. state of Montana signed a bill to ban TikTok, the social media giant has taken the state to court. 

The popular app, with a billion users worldwide, has repeatedly come under fire over concerns about data privacy. But some legal experts argue that TikTok might still prevail.
