A new solution is helping more kids in Lagos, Nigeria enroll in school.

Recyclable waste is now being accepted as a form of payment for school tuition fees at 40 area schools.One participating school is My Dream Stead in Lagos.

The institution charges $130 a year per pupil, and will now accept recyclables as payment.

The recyclable rubbish is weighed on the school grounds.The value is then added to a student’s account.The novel solution is helping more kids from impoverished families stay in school.
