Colombia begins campaign to curb deforestation

Colombia’s Amazon forest is fast approaching a point-of-no-return from deforestation by cattle ranchers, illicit mining and logging, and a lack of education. The government is supporting conservation efforts in these historically-neglected regions by educating a new group of front-line first responders.
