Teachers were joined by healthcare workers in striking and protesting in Buenos Aires on June 15, demanding higher salaries, more resources, and investments into their sectors. 

The demonstrations were sparked by stalled salary renegotiations deals brought on by Argentinian’s rapidly climbing inflation. Inflation over the last 12 months has hit 114%, eating into worker's wages and driving up the price of food and other necessities.
