A riot at a women’s prison in Honduras has left at least 48 people dead, in what the country’s government is calling a direct attack on its own administration.
This deadly riot comes at a time when the country is taking measures to crack-down on organized crime gangs that have made the country one of the most dangerous in Latin America.
