The Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations has called for an urgent Security Council meeting to address the current spate of violence on the West Bank. Labelling the attacks as terrorism Riyad Mansour says the Palestinian people are being punished by Israel. The remarks by Mansour come as the General Assembly adopts a framework to counter global terrorism.
