Artifacts modeled on thousands of years of civilization, many with a modern twist, adorn the Journey through Civilizations exhibition currently on display at the United Nations Secretariat building in New York.
Items include glazed ceramics, miniatures of some of imperial China's most famous architecture, stamps, and modern art pieces.
The display has provoked discussion of China's rich and diverse past, present, and future.
