Environmentalists, researchers, educators and government officials from Cuba and around the world are in Havana this week for an international conference on the environment.

The forum is aimed at sharing experiences on sustainable practices, climate change strategies and other initiatives at a time when the world is facing more frequent extreme weather conditions.
