Hollywood documentary NFTY30, the first film dedicated to NFTs and Web3, has concluded production in New York. The movie is aiming to have its premiere event at Harvard Business School.
After two years of pre-production and three months of intense filming, NFTY30 held its wrap ceremony aboard the Cornucopia Destiny Cruise with 50 guests from various sectors of the film industry.
The film is an innovative collaboration by Hollywood Capital Group and its subsidiaries NFTY30 LLC, Hollywood 3.0 Film Inc, Meta News, and Warrior NFT Center Inc.
NFTY30 features discussions with over 30 leading figures in the NFT industry, including the artist Beeple, whose NFT artwork sold for a record-breaking $69.3 million in 2021. It shows how Web3 technologies such as NFTs have transformed film production and the creative industry.
NFTs are non-fungible digital tokens that are unique and can’t be replaced. Using NFT has become an increasingly popular way to buy digital assets in the form such as art, music, and videos, frequently with cryptocurrency.
According to its production team, they wanted to explore how would Web3 technologies such as NFTs, augmented reality, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence reshape the human experience through this film. The movie will be submitted to the top international film festivals in 2024.
