Zhuozhou City in north China’s Heibei province has been severely affected by the recent rainstorms. As of August 1st, 133,913 people from 146 villages in the city have been impacted.
Residents try their best to move to higher ground, waiting for rescue.
Firefighters worked around the clock to save lives. Blue Sky Rescue Team, a Chinese civil emergency rescue organization, also joined the rescue efforts.
So far, 125,000 people from 124 villages have been evacuated to safety.
