Six countries invited to become new BRICS members

The BRICS economic group is expanding. On Thursday, leaders formally announced six new members will join in 2024.
The list includes Latin America’s third largest economy, Argentina. Buenos Aires welcomed the opportunity at a time when the country faces serious challenges.
