Complaint says migrants faced medical neglect in Florida detention center

Human rights groups and advocates have been complaining for years about the inhumane treatment of migrants in Florida at the Baker County Detention Center.

The center is operated by the Baker County Sheriff's Office through a contract with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

A new complaint filed in May details how dozens undocumented migrants have suffered extreme medical neglect.  Rights groups say some migrants died as a result of negligence.
