For the first time since its establishment 75 years ago, UN Peacekeeping around the world could be forced to change the way it operates.
Earlier this year, the government of Mali decided to terminate the UN’s long standing peacekeeping operation in the country.
Now experts say that an era of large, complex UN missions, especially in Africa, could be drawing to an end.
