Chinese President Xi Jinping recently replied to a letter from Flying Tigers veterans Harry Moyer and Mel McMullen, and the chairman of the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation Jeffrey Greene.
The foundation has worked over the years to document the memories of the Flying Tigers, a group of American volunteer aviators who fought side by side with the Chinese Air Force to help defeat the Japanese Forces during World War II.
Ediz Tiyansan visited Las Vegas to speak to Jeffrey Greene on what the letter means to U.S. veterans and their families.
