Small group of residents begin returning to Lahaina

Many areas of Maui, Hawaii, have been off-limits to all but authorized personnel since the August 8 wildfire destroyed the small town of Lahaina.
On Monday a small group of pass holders were allowed to return to the ruins of their former homes.
Some people returned for sentimental reasons, others to search for mementos.
